Annie fell in love with working in school ten years ago when an unlikely opportunity crossed her path. Since then, she has held roles in all areas of institutional advancement for independent schools, both in an employee and consultant capacity.
Annie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University. She was a fellow for the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Aspiring Heads program and recently earned her Master Gardener certification in the state of Maryland - a skill set she hopes to put to good use at Riley.
Her love for animals, the outdoors, and a commitment to the natural wonder of childhood are a few of the attributes that drew her to Riley. Annie and her husband, Gavin, have two sons, Finn and Ian, and a beloved and scruffy dog named Darby. Their family looks forward to exploring the Midcoast for many years to come.
